It's crafted from red-speckled clay using hand-building techniques; no pottery wheel involved. The organic texture of unglazed, natural ceramic clay on one side, contrasted by a smooth, white glaze on the other, gives this vase a beautiful balance of modern rustic aesthetic. I also applied glaze inside to ensure it's watertight and fired it at a high temperature of 2200°F. I didn't intentionally do this, but I can't help but see a frog in this vase design!
