Striora Baking Pot

This handmade speckled clay cooking pot comes with a matching lid and features white glaze inside that’s smooth and easy to clean. The outside is left unglazed, like traditional clay pots, and may develop natural character with use over time. It’s crafted from stoneware clay and works well as a soup, casserole, or stew pot. The earthy tones and Scandinavian pottery style make it a cozy and functional piece for everyday cooking or serving. A unique ceramic cookware piece with a handcrafted feel.

This ceramic cooking pot is handmade in my home studio. The piece you see here is the exact one you’ll receive, crafted with care and ready to ship.

🛠 Materials & Process
Made from durable stoneware clay and finished with lead-free, non-toxic glazes.

Each piece is fired twice at over 2200°F and takes a couple weeks to complete—slow, careful work for something that lasts.

❗️Care Instructions

Please allow the dish to cool completely before rinsing or placing on cold/wet surfaces. Sudden temperature changes can cause cracks.

🖐️ Dishwasher is safe, hand washing is recommended to keep your piece looking its best for years to come.

Important Note:
🌿The exterior of this baking dish is unglazed, so it may naturally darken or show marks from oils, food, or use over time—just like traditional clay pots. This is part of its charm and doesn’t affect performance.

🧼Cleaning Tips:
1. Rinse with warm water
Skip the soap—unglazed clay can absorb it.
2. Baking soda paste for stains
Mix baking soda with a bit of water, gently scrub, then rinse well.
3. Soak if needed
For stubborn spots, soak in warm water with a splash of vinegar or baking soda for 15–30 minutes.
4. Air dry completely
Let the dish dry fully before storing to avoid trapped moisture.

🚫 Not for stovetop use
Do not place on direct heat (like burners), as this can cause cracking.
