Ceramic Stoneware Baking Pots / Cooking Pots
This handmade clay cooking pot is a perfect addition to your kitchen. The natural speckled design with hand-painted white stripes adds a touch of rustic charm. Designed for durability, it is high-fired and safe for baking and serving. The matching lid and handles make it both functional and beautiful for your table.
❗️Care Instructions:
Always let dishes cool completely before rinsing. Avoid placing a hot dish on a cold or wet surface directly from the oven.
Hand washing is recommended for longevity.
Fired at 2200°F (1200°C) for strength and durability, it is safe to use in the microwave and oven, withstanding temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). Made from non-toxic materials, it’s a reliable, food-safe addition to your kitchen.
Please note: The exterior of this baking pot is unglazed, which means it can develop slight color changes over time when exposed to food, oils, or other substances. This is a natural characteristic of unglazed ceramics, similar to traditional clay baking pots.
To clean, follow these simple steps:
1. Rinse with warm water – Avoid using soap, as unglazed surfaces can absorb it.
2. Use a baking soda paste – If stains develop, mix baking soda with water to create a paste, gently scrub the area, and rinse thoroughly.
3. Soak if needed – For tough stains, soak the dish in warm water with a bit of vinegar or baking soda for 15-30 minutes before scrubbing.
4. Allow to fully dry – After washing, let it air dry completely before storing to prevent moisture buildup.
Over time, unglazed baking dishes develop a natural patina, which enhances their character without affecting performance. Proper care will keep your piece in great condition for years to come!
it’s NOT SUITABLE FOR STOVETOP USE, especially in direct heat, as sudden temperature changes can cause the ceramic to crack or break. Its durability and heat resistance make it a functional and attractive addition to any kitchen, but remember to avoid placing it directly on a burner.
